As part of any project delivery plan, regular review is required to assess the effectiveness of programs, guide decision-making, incorporate new knowledge and to improve future delivery. WQIP:2015 is intended to be a ‘living website’ with the ability to be reviewed at any time. Small-scale interim reviews will be undertaken as new data becomes available, with the findings incorporated into the appropriate prioritisation tools. The results of any reviews will be published on the WQIP:2015 website and any recommended changes to the program will be undertaken in consultation with funding bodies and key delivery partners.
In 2019 a review and update of the WQIP:2015 and website were conducted.
A full-scale review of the WQIP:2015 will be undertaken in 2022/2023. This evaluation will be in line with the Reef 2050 Implementation Plan.
